The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering, Sawyerpuram, successfully organized a seminar on “Time Management and Stress Levels among Mechanical Engineering Students” to equip students with essential life skills for academic success, personal well-being, and professional growth.

The seminar was conducted in the esteemed presence of Mr. N. Jeyakumar Santhosh, Correspondent, Dr. J. Japhynth, Principal, and Dr. S. Tennison, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, who encouraged students to cultivate effective time management practices and maintain a healthy balance between academics and personal life.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. M. Dhinakaran, M.A., M.B.A., M.L., SET., M.Phil., Ph.D., Head and Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Pope’s College, Sawyerpuram, Thoothukudi District. In his insightful session, he emphasized the importance of proper planning, prioritization, self-discipline, and stress management techniques in achieving both academic excellence and career success.
Dr. Dhinakaran also highlighted practical strategies for overcoming academic pressure, improving productivity, enhancing emotional well-being, and developing a positive mindset to face the challenges of higher education and professional life.
