Sawyerpuram, 6 August 2026:
The 17th Graduation Ceremony of Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering, Sawyerpuram, was held with great enthusiasm and dignity at the College Auditorium.
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. N. Jeyakumar Santhosh, Correspondent, with Dr. J. Japhynth, Principal, coordinating the academic proceedings.
Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Christopher Vijayan, Moderator’s Commissioner, CSI–TND, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed the graduation certificates to the graduating students.
Mr. S. D. K. Rajan, Lay Secretary, CSI–TND, extended his greetings and congratulated the graduating students on their academic achievement.
The ceremony was also graced by Rev. P. Moses Jebaraj, Vice Chairman, CSI–TND; Rev. D. G. A. Thomas, Clergy Secretary, CSI–TND; Mr. D. K. M. Johnson David, Treasurer, CSI–TND; Mr. J. Jebachandran, Standing Committee Secretary – College Governing Committee; and Rev. S. Anand Samuel John Thomas, Pastorate Chairman, Sawyerpuram.
Correspondents of various colleges and schools, members of the Governing Council and Executive Committee, Pastorate members, members of the Sawyerpuram congregation, Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, and students participated in the ceremony.
The occasion marked a proud and memorable milestone in the lives of the graduating students as they embarked on the next chapter of their professional journey. The ceremony concluded on a celebratory note, with the institution extending its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the graduates for their future endeavours.
