Department of ECE Hosts Engaging Knowledge Transfer Session on Full-Stack Development
21 October 2024: In a concerted effort to equip students with essential skills for the evolving tech landscape, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) of Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), recently conducted a one-day knowledge transfer (KT) session on Full-Stack Development and Modern Web Technologies.
This insightful session was led by Mr. Jefferson, a distinguished alumnus of the 2008-2012 batch, now serving as Solution Architect at Riverstone Infotech, Chennai. His in-depth knowledge and industry experience captivated the audience, with over 150 students actively participating and engaging in a dynamic exchange of ideas.
The event took place under the esteemed presence of Dr. Vijayalakshmi, Vice Principal and Head of the School of Arts and Humanities (HOD/SAH), and Mrs. S. Selvathi Ponmalar, Head of the ECE Department (HOD/ECE), who honored Mr. Jefferson for his contributions. Faculty members, department heads, and students from various disciplines attended, making the session an enriching learning experience.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, as students found the session both relevant and highly beneficial for their professional growth. E-certificates were awarded to all participants, marking their engagement in this valuable knowledge-sharing initiative.
