FRESHERS’ ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2024

Dr. G U Pope College of Engineering (GUPCE) organized a grand Freshers’ Orientation Program on the 19th of September 2024. The event, held on the college campus, witnessed a warm welcome for the new batch of students, marking the beginning of their exciting academic journey.
The Correspondent of the institution, Thiru R. Rajesh Ravichandar, delivered a motivating presidential address, encouraging students to embrace their time at GUPCE with enthusiasm and dedication. Dr. J. Japhynth, the Principal, followed with a heartfelt felicitation address, highlighting the importance of education and personal growth during college years.
Dr. M. Vijayalakshmi, Head of the Department (HOD) of the Science and Humanities (SAH), offered a welcoming speech to the freshers, providing them with valuable insights on institutional rules, regulations, and expectations for their academic and co-curricular activities.
The event was attended by faculty members, HODs from various departments, senior students, staff, and well-wishers. Their collective presence served to reassure the freshers, creating a warm and supportive environment as they embark on this new chapter.
The program concluded with a message of encouragement to the new students to pursue excellence in both academic and extracurricular fields. It was a memorable occasion where the entire GUPCE community came together to greet and guide the fresh minds of the institution.
