Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adani Cement under its flagship academia–industry engagement programme, Adani Cement FutureX, marking a significant step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
The MoU aims to create a strong linkage between classroom learning and real-world industrial practices. Through this partnership, students and faculty will gain exposure to collaborative research, innovation in sustainable construction materials, industry-anchored learning, internships, live projects, and experiential industrial immersion.
Speaking on the occasion, the college management highlighted that the collaboration would enhance students’ practical knowledge and prepare them for future-ready careers in engineering and infrastructure development. The programme will also enable faculty members to engage in joint research initiatives and knowledge exchange with industry experts.
The association with Adani Cement, one of India’s leading building materials companies, is expected to provide students with valuable insights into sustainability, modern manufacturing practices, and emerging technologies in the cement and construction sector.
