Sawyerpuram, 7 August 2026: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (UG & PG) of Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering, through the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the Computer Society of India (CSI) Chapter, organised a guest lecture on “AI Revolution 2040: How AI Will Transform Jobs, Skills and Careers” on 7 August 2026.
The session was conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Panel Room, Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering.
Dr. Venkatesan J, Founder & CEO of V-Accel AI Dynamic Pvt. Ltd. and Founder of Axess Technology, served as the Resource Person. He shared valuable insights into the future of Artificial Intelligence, its impact on employment, emerging skills, and the evolving career opportunities in the AI-driven world.
The session provided students with valuable exposure to the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, encouraging them to develop relevant skills and prepare for future technological advancements.
The programme was coordinated by Ms. S. Veni Priyadharshini, AP/CSE, Association Co-Coordinator, under the guidance of Dr. T. Jasperline, Convener/HOD, Dr. J. Japhynth, Patron/Principal, and Mr. Jeyakumar Santhosh N., Chief Patron/Correspondent.
The guest lecture was attended by faculty members and students, who actively participated in the interactive session.
