Dr. G U Pope College of Engineering Students Visit Raphael Mentally Retarded School
Thoothukudi, October 8, 2025 — The students and staff of Dr. G U Pope College of Engineering visited Raphael Mentally Retarded School as part of their community outreach and social responsibility initiative.
During the visit, the students interacted with the children and staff of the institution, spreading joy and compassion through engaging activities. As a gesture of love and care, the college team provided lunch to all the students and staff members of the Raphael School.
This visit aimed to instill in students a sense of empathy, social awareness, and responsibility toward the differently-abled community. The management of Dr. G U Pope College of Engineering appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to continue participating in such humanitarian activities that reflect the institution’s values of service and compassion.
