The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a One-Week Online Faculty Development Program on “Advanced Machine Learning for Researchers and Scholars plus Effective Research Writing Techniques” from 14th July 2025 to 19th July 2025.
The FDP was inaugurated with a welcome address by Dr. J. Japhynth, Principal, who highlighted the importance of upskilling and collaborative learning for faculty members.
Key Highlights of the FDP:
- The FDP featured 12 technical sessions covering Feature Engineering, Multimodal Machine Learning, Graph Neural Networks, Model Explainability, Generative AI, Quantum Machine Learning, AI in Healthcare, ML Model Deployment, Bioinformatics & Genomics, and Research Paper Writing (with and without ChatGPT).
- Each session was handled by expert speakers who shared their in-depth knowledge and practical insights.
- A total of around 70 participants attended the program with great enthusiasm.
