Dr. G.U. Pope College of Engineering proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of our staff members, students, and campus engineer, who all actively participated in the celebration.
The ceremony commenced with Dr. J. Japhynth hoisting the National Flag, followed by the gathering singing the National Anthem in unison. Dr. Japhynth then delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the values of freedom, unity, and responsibility, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the duties we hold as citizens.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets to all attendees, spreading joy and reinforcing the spirit of togetherness.
