Thoothukudi, October 23 — Dr. G U Pope College of Engineering has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wingscad, a leading software training and placement company, to enhance industry collaboration and student employability.
The agreement seeks to provide students with industry-focused training, hands-on technical workshops, and enhanced placement opportunities in the IT sector.
Speaking on the occasion, college representatives stated that the partnership will help bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, enabling students to acquire the practical skills necessary for the evolving technology landscape.
This MoU marks a significant step towards strengthening the institution’s commitment to fostering career-ready graduates and building sustainable industry–academia linkages.
