Fundraising Sales Event for St. Raphael Mission Hospital driven by the Students of Dr. G U Pope College Engineering

Sawyerpuram, June 2023 — The Dr. G U Pope College of Engineering recently held a successful fundraising sales event to benefit St. Raphael Mission Hospital in Sawyerpuram. The event took place over the 3rd and 4th weeks of June, featuring the combined efforts and culinary talents of students from various engineering departments, including Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Science and Humanities (SAH), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Students from each department prepared an array of delicious dishes, showcasing their culinary skills and creativity. These efforts culminated in a vibrant and engaging sales event, where the community came together to support a noble cause. The sales from the event, along with additional donations, were dedicated to supporting the ongoing work of St. Raphael Mission Hospital.

The event was graced by the active participation of the college’s Correspondent, Principal, Department Heads, staff, and students. Their collective enthusiasm and dedication were instrumental in making the event a resounding success. The funds raised will contribute to the hospital’s mission of providing Construction development  & quality healthcare to the community.

The Correspondent of Dr. G U Pope College expressed immense pride in the students’ efforts and the community’s response. “It is heartwarming to see our students and staff come together for such a worthy cause. This event not only highlights their technical skills but also their generosity and community spirit,” they remarked.

The Principal also commended the initiative, noting, “Our students have once again demonstrated that they are not only future engineers but also responsible citizens. Their hard work and commitment to helping those in need reflect the values we strive to instill in them.”
