On the morning of January 26, 2024, at 09:30 AM, Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering (GUPCE) proudly celebrated Republic Day with a vibrant ceremony on its campus. Principal Dr. J Japhynth, alongside NSS unit students, Heads of Departments (HODs), teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and office assistants, participated in the flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing unity and national pride.
Former Dean Dr. Isaac Balasingh delivered an inspiring Republic Day address, emphasizing constitutional values. The seamless execution of the event, orchestrated by GUPCE Physical Directors, showcased meticulous arrangements. The festivities concluded with the distribution of sweets, fostering a sense of joy and camaraderie among the GUPCE community. This Republic Day celebration exemplified GUPCE’s commitment to unity, patriotism, and progress.
