The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Dr. G.U. Pope College of Engineering, Sawyerpuram, successfully organized a National Level Technical Symposium – “MESHALS 2K25” on 15th October 2025 at the college campus.The event was inaugurated by Dr. J. Japhynth, Principal, and Dr. S. Tennison, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The Guest of Honour for the occasion was Prof. D. Kirubaharan Joseph, M.E., Principal, Thevanesam Erudhaya Ammal Polytechnic College, Vembar. The programme commenced with a warm felicitation by Thiru. SDR. Vijayaseelan, Correspondent of the institution.The symposium served as a platform for students from various engineering colleges to exhibit their technical skills, innovative ideas, and creative projects. Several technical and non-technical events were conducted, drawing active participation and appreciation from students across the region.The event concluded with a valedictory function where winners were honored with certificates and prizes. The department expressed gratitude to all participants, faculty members, and student coordinators for their valuable contributions to the grand success of MESHALS 2K25.
