Thoothukudi, February 5, 2026:
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (UG & PG), Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering, through the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the Computer Society of India (CSI) Chapter, organised a seminar on “Explainable AI Techniques for LLM-Based Agents” on February 5, 2026, at the Conference Hall, Admin Block.

The session was handled by Mr. K. Daniel Raj, PG student, Department of CSE (PG), who elaborated on the significance of explainable artificial intelligence and its role in enhancing transparency in large language model–based agents. He highlighted key concepts, practical applications, and emerging trends in the field of AI.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the programme, which was found to be informative and beneficial in understanding the practical relevance of explainable AI techniques.
