Thoothukudi, October 17: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Dr. G.U. Pope College of Engineering, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a Workshop on Women Empowerment at the college campus on Friday.
Dr. J.R. Hannah Lilly, Head of the Department of Tamil, Popes Arts and Science College, Sawyerpuram, served as the resource person. She emphasized the importance of gender equality, self-confidence, and women’s active participation in social and professional spaces.
The event was presided over by Thiru SDR Vijayaseelan Correspondent and Dr. J. Japhynth Principal, and coordinated by Mr. Jackson, IIC President & HOD of Civil Engineering. Dr. M. Vijaya Lakshmi, HOD-SAH, extended their support for the successful conduct of the program.
