An Interactive Career Guidance Session on VLSI Design Engineering – November 9, 2024
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) of Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering, in collaboration with the Training and Placement Cell, organized an insightful career guidance session titled “How to Become a VLSI Design Engineer”. This event, held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, was conducted in association with Gnanodaya VLSI, empowering students to explore career opportunities in VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) design engineering.
The session was led by Er. Mukundhan, a seasoned VLSI Design Engineer, who shared his expertise and insights into the VLSI industry, guiding students on the path to becoming successful VLSI engineers. The session, which began at 11:00 AM, was open to all students free of charge, encouraging maximum participation and engagement.
Dr. J. Japhynth, Principal, Thiru R. Rajesh Ravichandar, Correspondent, and Mrs. S. Selvathi Ponmalar, Head of the ECE Department, attended the event, reflecting the institution’s commitment to fostering industry-relevant skills among its students.
