Empowering Future: GUPCE’s ‘Career Compass’ under CSI chapter

On February 8th, 2024, the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department of our esteemed institution, under the guidance of Correspondent Thiru. R. Rajesh Ravichandar, and the leadership of Principal Dr. Japhynth and Dr. T. Jasperline, Head of the CSE Department, organized a transformative event titled “Career Compass.” This insightful program was conducted in collaboration with the esteemed Computer Society of India (CSI), ensuring our students receive top-notch guidance in their professional journey.

The event was graced by distinguished trainers, Ms. S. Deepa, a Senior Software Trainer from Dhatchan Academy, and Mr. S. Selvakumar, the esteemed Product Manager at Bevywise Networks. Their expertise and industry experience added immense value to the session, providing our students with invaluable insights into career placements and interview skills.

Guiding the proceedings, we had Mrs. Ruth Rathanakumari, Assistant Professor and CSI Association Coordinator, alongside Mrs. S.N. Sheebha, who played a pivotal role as the program coordinator. Their dedication and efforts ensured the seamless execution of the program, making it a resounding success.

We were delighted to see over 100 eager students participate in this enriching initiative. Through interactive sessions and practical guidance, students were equipped with essential skills vital for their professional growth. From mastering interview techniques to refining personal grooming, the program aimed to empower each participant with the tools necessary to excel in their chosen career paths.
