The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering, Sawyerpuram, organized a National Level Symposium titled Spectra’25 on 17th September 2025 at the college auditorium.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. J. Japhynth, Principal of Dr. G. U. Pope College of Engineering. The Guest of Honour was JFM. S. Juana Goldie, Educator, Certified Trainer, and Charter President of JCI Tuticorin Harmonious Elite, who delivered an inspiring address to the gathering.
Over 250 participants from various engineering institutions across Tamil Nadu actively took part in the symposium, showcasing their technical skills and innovative ideas through various competitions and presentations.
As part of the event, the department magazine “Spectronix – Vol. 4” was also released, highlighting the achievements, creative works, and innovations of ECE students.
The program was meticulously organized under the guidance of Mrs. A. Mabel Rajakumari, Event Manager & Assistant Professor (ECE), and Mrs. S. Selvarathi Ponmalar, Head of the Department of ECE.
The organizing team comprised Mr. Vinoth Kanna M (President), Mr. Mathees Kumar R (Secretary), Mr. Selva Pandi S (Joint Secretary), and Ms. Abisha A (Treasurer), with the dedicated support of the ECE department staff and students.
